As COVID-19 related incidences increase, medical facilities are experiencing a dramatic increase in patients who have developed pneumonia or pneumonia-related incidences and also will be subject to pressure ulcers due to immobility while in bed. The TurnWedge is a multi-purpose solution that can deliver an effective patient outcome at a low price point

This solution may also help the ventilator shortage problem as well, because a medical facility can employ the TurnWedge in a simple kinetic positioning/kinetic therapy and proning protocol on the patient, which may prevent the patient from getting to a state of severe respiratory distress that would necessitate a ventilator.
