Here is a very detailed bit of information regarding stress and health. I still like the way a sports massage instructor named John Harris whom I was lucky enough to take some classes from 20 years ago stated it. He said "stress is our contractive response to the world around us". I've found this to be trueand useful information. Through the years of study practice and application I've found that relaxing is the stepping off point from which we can create a better life.

I watched a YouTube from John Bergman yesterday. He's a chiropractor from Huntington Beach. He mentioned the study done on stress and its relation to illness from Stanford University. I googled it and found of course a massive amount of information regarding the role of stress in illness. I didn't notice any so far mentioning that stress is our contractive response to life; they mention mostly that we have a "stress" response. Remember that Meditation, Tai Chi and Massage can help you to teach yourself to "NOT" contract your body or mind in response to negative situations.
