💙 Safe Sleep Saves Lives 💙
October is SIDS Awareness Month, a time to remind all caregivers about the importance of safe sleep for babies.

Remember the ABC’s of Safe Sleep:
🍼 Alone — Baby sleeps alone in their own sleep space.
🍼 Back — Always place baby on their back to sleep.
🍼 Crib — Use a firm, flat sleep surface free of toys, blankets, and pillows.

Every nap and every night matter. Practicing safe sleep helps protect your baby and reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Biketoberfest is back! 🏍️
As thousands of riders travel to Volusia County for the 33rd Annual Biketoberfest (Oct. 16–19), we’re reminding everyone to stay alert and share the road safely.

🚗 Drivers: Look twice for motorcycles, allow extra following distance, and use caution at intersections.
🏍️ Riders: Wear protective gear, keep headlights on, and avoid impaired or unsafe riding.

Expect heavier traffic countywide — plan ahead, stay patient, and help make this year’s Biketoberfest safe and enjoyable for all.
