It’s been a bit but we have been sooooo busy! Lots of families visiting for spring break, weddings, etc! The beerfest boys came back for year 3, and my fantastic 4 ladies are coming back again in August!!!!! I am so THANKFUL for being able to keep this home open for people to enjoy!

Well, just like the “whimsical” person I am (husband’s term for me) I am not just going to highlight local businesses this summer. I am going to highlight just “Local”. I decided I had way cooler ideas to share.

Today I am sharing an incredible LOCAL charity that is doing a huge thing with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Red Flowers is the cousin in law to a personal friend of mine. Summer break has arrived for Volusia County!!! This summer I want to highlight the businesses that are just as local as we are. This will be my summer must visit places because they are the places we love 🥰

1. Peanuts in New Smyrna Beach.

Close enough to the beach to still have sand on your feet when you walk in. The staff know almost everyone by name and the inside jokes are thrown around like confetti. The live music is fun and loud. This is a short drive from our place and worth an Uber ride over for drinks and an evening stroll along the beach.

Old houses take ALOT of tlc. We are having the siding redone in June so that means the old girl is getting a new paint job!!! What do y’all think of this color idea???
