“He looked at me, scratched his bleeding skin, and said, ‘Mama itchy?’” 😢

That was this mom’s breaking point. Her 1-year-old could barely eat without breaking out in hives, vomiting, or scratching his skin raw from eczema. After an allergy test, it looked like he was allergic to everything. 🫣

“I tried so many creams. Detox baths. Elimination diets. But nothing fixed it. His pediatrician kept saying, ‘some kids just get eczema’—but that wasn’t good enough for me.”

“Our entire family was dealing with significant neurologic struggles…” 😣
Chronic daily headaches. Dysautonomia. Night terrors. Meltdowns. Anxiety. Poor coordination.
“For myself and our youngest, Adley, the NS symptoms were severe. After a traumatic birth and developing long-haul COVID, my daily headaches were debilitating. For Adley, she began to experience apnea, significant GERD, and hypotonia at 1.5 months old. Our entire lives were dominated by nervous system dysregulation.” 😭

Before finding their local PX Docs office, Noelle was facing some big emotional challenges. Frequent meltdowns, heightened anxiety, and a very low tolerance for frustration. Even the smallest changes in routine could completely overwhelm her. 😟
Her parents had tried everything. From the tools they learned in occupational therapy to adding supplements in case it was a nutrient issue, they did all they could to support her. But nothing seemed to make a lasting difference. 👎🏻 It was discouraging and disheartening to keep hearing, “She’ll grow out of it” or “It’s just her age,” when they knew in their gut there had to be something more.
