🌟 Mission Monday~Staff Spotlight 🌟

Today we are excited to highlight one of our amazing team members, Tami Stant!

Tami has been a Licensed Practical Nurse here with us for 1 year, and has been serving as a Licensed Practical Nurse since 1988. With decades of experience, she brings incredible knowledge, compassion, and dedication to our residents every single day.

What does she love most about working here? She shares that she truly loves the residents and her coworkers, and that being here feels like home. ❤️

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going on road trips, and spending quality time with her grandchildren.

We are so grateful to have her as part of our team! Thank you for all that you do! 👏

We had so much fun playing the Slippery Slope game with our residents! There was lots of laughter, friendly competition, and great teamwork. It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged and encouraging one another. Activities like this really bring out smiles and create special moments together.

Look at the beautiful work they created in Assisted Living. Each stained glass picture is bursting with color, creativity, and imagination. It’s amazing to see how every piece turned out so unique and full of personality. We are so proud of their hard work and artistic expression!

💜💛💚 Mardi Gras Bash! 💚💛💜

We had the BEST time celebrating Fat Tuesday this afternoon with beads, music, laughter, and plenty of Mardi Gras spirit! The highlight of the day? A very special visit from “Mardi” the horse! 🐴💜

Residents enjoyed smiles, snuggles, and lots of sweet moments with Mardi.

From festive decorations to joyful memories, today was full of sparkle, smiles, and that classic Mardi Gras magic. 💛💚💜

🌟 Mission Monday~Staff Spotlight 🌟

Today we’re excited to highlight two of our amazing therapists at Vancrest of Delphos who help our residents get back on the road to better health every single day!

👏 Julie Renner, PT
Julie has been a Physical Therapist for 15 years and has been part of the Vancrest family for 1.5 years. She recently started our Power in Parkinson’s Program on Thursdays at 1:30 PM — and we’re so excited to see it up and running!
Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending quality time with her family.

👏 Braden Kriegel, OT
Braden has been an Occupational Therapist for 17 years and has dedicated 14 of those years to Vancrest. He is actively involved in our Power in Parkinson’s Program and is passionate about helping residents regain independence and strength.
When he’s not at work, Braden enjoys fishing, golfing, soebding time with hos family, coaching youth sports, and umpiring youth games.

We truly appreciate everything Julie and Braden bring to Vancrest of Delphos. Their dedication, compassion, and expertise make a difference in the lives of so many every day. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to the Delphos St. John’s Mission Society students for making our residents’ Valentine’s Day so incredibly special! The gorgeous carnations you brought filled the room with color, joy, and so many smiles. 🌸

Your thoughtfulness, warmth, and generosity truly touched everyone’s hearts. Our residents loved spending time with you, and your visit meant more than words can express.

We are deeply grateful for your kindness and for sharing such a beautiful act of love and community with us. 💖

With the Olympics in full swing, we brought some of the excitement right here to our residents! 🏅🔥

We had a blast playing our own version of an Olympic Torch Relay game — think Hot Potato with a fun Olympic twist! As the music played, the “torch” was passed around. When the music stopped, whoever was holding the torch had to act out an Olympic sport for everyone to guess.

From snow skiing to ice skating and everything in between, the room was filled with laughter, big smiles, and lots of cheering. It was such a joy to see everyone getting involved and showing off their creativity.

Mission Monday~Staff Spotlight! 🌟

Today we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Minnie Miller from our Dietary team! Minnie joined us a couple of months ago, and we’re so happy to have her back. She previously worked with us for two years while she was in high school, so she’s no stranger to our mission and our team.

Outside of work, Minnie enjoys bowling and reading, and she brings that same focus and positivity into everything she does here.

Thank you, Minnie, for all that you do — we truly appreciate you and are grateful to have you as part of our team!

We had a blast playing Straw Ball! 🏓🎉
The goal was simple (and hilarious): use a straw to blow the ping-pong ball off the table onto your opponent’s side.

We played several rounds with both residents and staff, and everyone had a great time! 😊
