Unfortunately the future generation of Medford Trains will not exist. All of the hard work that Jim did is lost to his family forever. It’s hard to believe that someone would look at someone’s passing as a way to make a profit rather than respect that person’s wishes.

Jim’s grandkids are heartbroken. They were looking forward to continuing the hobby to make Jim proud and feel closer to him.

Jim was a good man, but was taken advantage of at the end. He and his hobby will be missed.

If anyone has any info on what happened to Jim’s kits and dioramas, please message me. He wanted them to go to his grandkids / business partners, but when going to get them, they were gone. It would mean a lot to the family.

I was able to work on the N scale company house to give you a size comparison. It’ll come with the same porches as the HO scale, just wasn’t able to build them today.

If you notice there’s a lump of cancer on my chest just under my chin from about 5 weeks ago. The good news is that it seems to be shrinking from the drugs I’m on...at least I hope so!
Probably from all the prayers I’ve been getting from all my dear friends! It’s in other parts of my body and I hope it’s shrinking too. I won’t know for another few weeks when they do another scan.

Not much completed on N scale company house as severe hand cramps kept me from it!
Shell is assembled and windows painted. Small porches will be included as with HO scale but at this time I can’t assemble them....can’t tell you how much they hurt both mentally and physically!

I certainly appreciate all the interest in the company houses, and would like to continue to get a count, but please wait until you see them on my Shopify site to purchase.
At this point in my recovery sorting windows and other parts is very stressful on the brain and only discourages me. When you buy from the site it prints the postage so I can just put it in my mailbox rather then take to the post office.
Stephen has already been allerted I’m going to need more of the HO.
I’m hoping to be able to post some N scale comparison shots later today.
I hope to have some help today with the windows ...each HO kit gets 14 windows, 28 panes of glazing and 14 shades.... well will the N scale ones.

Jim, we are all grateful for the enormous effort and energy you put into preserving the heritage of the Western Maryland. We are especially grateful to know how hard you are fighting to get through your struggles. Your humor, your candor, and your willingness to share with us is an important reminder for all of us to live,each moment as fully as we can, and no matter how big our obstacles may seem, it is always possible to push through them with grace. I want to start my day giving thanks to all my friends who’ve wished me well and given many prayers for my recovery, believe me, they have meant so much!
There’s been many times where I just wanted to give up on Medford Trains, to reduce any extra stress, but after all the enthusiasm on the company houses, I can’t let you down!
Many, many thanks to Stephen Milley for helping me with them, Jeff Grove with his constant offers of help and Rich Shepard of RSLaser who also has a lot of health issues but always willing to help!

I have to sort out the parts, especially the windows, and pack before they’re ready to ship. The price will be $36.50 plus $3.50 shipping and available on my Shopify Account @ Facebook.com/Medfordtrains.com, if you can friends and family please!
Only 10 left in HO, another 10 will be available in O scale and 10 - 2packs in N scale. Personally I think the O scale, although very detailed will be too large for the right effect, a line of the N scale along the backdrop will give the right effect!
The O scale won’t have a back porch but the N scale will be as the HO.
Price to be determined on the O and N scale as I figure out window and door costs. between the O and HO version.

You guys who follow me are special friends and if I can help just one of you keep from going through what I am, it’s worth the post!
Six years ago my PSA annual checkups found a diagnosis of prostate cancer. I considered my self lucky because it was treated daily, 43 times with radiation and I considered it easy.
My Urologist insisted on 6 month follow ups to be checked, I never missed any. Each time he told me I had traces of blood in my urine but never looked into the cause. About a year ago I developed a severe cough that with numerous tests couldn’t be determined as to what was causing it? Friends and family that were concerned said my body was sending me a signal of something more serious?
Then came the brain hemorrhage, cancer cells from my kidney had made it to my brain and came minutes from killing me, I couldn’t believe a cancerous kidney could effect my brain, the blood was a indication there was something not right with the kidney!
Now I’ve been told if the Urologist had done his job I may still have my kidney and no cancer!
Please get checked and insist on answers when your body is trying to tell you something so you can possibly avoid what I’m going through!
You all have been a great support and I appreciate every one of you, just don’t want to see you have to go through it, get checked and insist on answers no matter how trivial or how tough you think you may be!

It may be just me, but Facebook has become too complicated for me to use!

Happy Friday dear friends, I got a little work done on the O scale company house yesterday and looking forward to be able to get more finished today...hand cramps permitting?
Dreading sorting windows on the HO and N kits. They will need to have 280 windows with 560 pcs of glazing and shades sorted on the HO....Tichy doesn’t make shades for the N scale windows so won’t be included.

Having all day to watch the impeachment hearings..,unbiasedly, the only thing they are missing is the money the Biden’s were taking in. Why is that not brought up?
Enough time and taxpayers money spent on this whole ordeal!
