The Delta Health Board of Directors toured clinics and the hospital facilities, on the Delta campus this week.
This was a great opportunity for the board to meet with staff, and gain a more in-depth understanding of the inner workings of the “day-to-day”.
A shout out to the incredible Delta Health staff who took time away to ensure the Board’s tour was a success; we are excitedly making plans for tours at our clinics in Hotchkiss, Paonia and Cedaredge.

𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐚, 𝐂𝐎 (November 17, 2025) — Delta Health is pleased to announce expanded hours for our Urgent Care services, effective December 1, 2025 . The expansion of service days and hours is to better meet the needs of our patients and community. Delta Health Urgent Care, located at 296 Stafford Lane in Delta, will now be open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The extended hours make it easier for patients to receive care before and after school and work, ensuring timely access to high-quality medical services when it’s most convenient. “Our goal is to provide care that fits the lives of our patients,” said Julie Huffman, Delta Health Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Legal Officer. “By opening earlier and staying open later, we’re making it easier for families and working adults to get the care they need—without disrupting their daily routines.”
At Delta Health, patients also benefit from continuity of care with their primary physician. Our Urgent Care team works closely with your Delta Health provider to ensure seamless follow-up and coordination, so every visit supports your long-term health.
