My entire life it seemed as if the universe was gently nudging me in the direction of yoga. So as I got older and began to discover yoga I was intrigued to find something that fit me so perfectly. A yoga practice offers a way to take care of the body, keep the mind calm and at ease, provide subtle life lessons, and introduce one to a spiritual connection to their own divine self. My yoga practice

has been largely self-taught, while using all available resources I have at hand. Learning in this way helps me to offer well balanced yoga classes that cater to the needs of individuals from all walks of life. It's not just about going deep into the poses but going deep inside yourself to let your authentic light shine. I feel honored to be able to share something I am so passionate about. My ultimate goal as a yoga teacher is to simply bring more peace and happiness into my students lives.

As I look at offerings I’d like to bring forward, I’m also sitting with the uncertainty of how they will actually come together.

In moments like this, I come back to yoga as a way of orienting myself.

Brahmacharya as a reminder to be mindful with energy, and not let it get scattered into worry about what is beyond my control.

Aparigraha as the practice of not gripping too tightly to one outcome, and allowing space to let things go if they are not meant to stay.

And Ishvara pranidhana as the quiet trust underneath it all—that I don’t have to force or figure out every detail in order for things to unfold as they are meant to.

Nature doesn’t rush, yet everything is accomplished, so I too can allow things to bloom in their own time.

Hi friends 🌿 A quick update for today’s class. It’s looking like the weather will clear up and be nicer this evening, so we’re planning to gather outside for yoga.

I’ll check in with everyone who’s signed up and make the final call closer to class time, just to be sure.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply move inside to Dave’s Dungeon so we can still practice together.

You may want to bring a layer just in case. Looking forward to practicing with you 💛

This morning unfolded in a way I didn’t expect…

I shifted my schedule earlier so I could make it to a yoga class and connect with a local studio owner. On the way there, I witnessed (and just barely avoided being part of) a car accident. It was one of those moments that shakes you — a reminder of how quickly things can change. I’m incredibly grateful I wasn’t hurt, especially knowing how much I rely on my body for my work and daily life.

In the midst of it all, I was able to stay and support those involved. I even ended up driving one of them home — a complete stranger turned new connection. Moments like that stick with you.

After everything, I debated skipping the class… but realized I could still make it in time, so I went.

And I’m so glad I did.

It was truly an amazing session with Danyl at Soul Good Yoga . And I don’t say that lightly. The space was welcoming, intentional, and full of genuine presence. The flow, the pacing, the energy in the room — it all came together in a way that felt really special. You could feel the shared experience, not just the practice itself.

I’m leaving today feeling deeply grateful — for protection, for health, and for meaningful connection with like-minded people. 🙏✨💖
