How To be productive, and not busy

✨Take breaks between tasks; increases productivity, our brains can feel on overload and we can become careless and lose focus. Small bursts of breaks outside 🌳 can increase oxygen to the brain and increase your resilience.
✨Limit your list-less is more; burnout and task anxiety becomes a lot less common with less tasks to work on. The act of narrowing your list to 20 tasks per day to 3 priority tasks can be a game-changer tweak for your productivity system, helping you do less, but more meaningful tasks.
✨Do what’s important first;
Determining the most important thing that we need to accomplish for the day is a great way to make sure that they get done. Because if you don't know what you want to accomplish, if you don't know the more important things that need to get done, you're unlikely to complete this work or even prioritize it in the first place. A simple way to do this is list down the things that need to be done for the day, and prioritize which needs to be done first.
✨Distraction- free zone; Turn off notifications from email, pings, or alerts so you stay focused on the task at hand and can stay productive.
✨One thing at a time; It starts at the beginning of each work day. Before you plunge into problem-solving mode, take a few minutes and consciously plan your day. This doesn’t mean creating a laundry-list of tasks to complete. Instead, focus on a few key objectives, things that are aligned with your longer-term business objectives and will help you move forward.
✨Ask for help or delegate; We don’t have to pile on the work and think we are sole responsible for everything. We can let others know we need more support on a project. Take the load off by having others do small tasks so you can focus on the bigger project.

How nature saved my life 🌲

So here I was in my mid 20’s and burning out from my job. I couldn’t show up and function anymore without feeling completely overwhelmed and fearing that if I went to my boss that I would be fired. (How many can relate 🙋🏽‍♀️) I was also stuck inside 10-15 hours a day having the artificial lights beating down on me, and missing my sunshine ☀️ and fresh air.

Before I knew how important it is to just take a moment and breath in from nature I was finding myself at the parks during lunch just to escape to feel the wind, and listen to the birds chirp.

It’s funny how our bodies know these things we should be doing without actually knowing why…

Our bodies are always in the present moment. 💕

It’s our ego that sends us spiraling 🌀 into the past and thinking and fearing the future. So when we step into the present moment our nervous system can reset and bring us back into a more calmer state.

So my body was urging me to step away, and sometimes I would listen but felt there was just never enough TIME… ⏰

After I left my job I spent a summer in Costa Rica and literally balled my eyes out in the jungle because of how much my body needed to connect back to earth. As humans we are not meant to be robots and spend all our time inside a building. We are literally of this earth and soil, and need to feel that everyday.

5-10min outside is proven to improve memory, brain fog, mental fatigue, better productivity, & better than a cup of coffee.

What does REST mean to you?

I thought rest was for lazy people.. who had time to nap 😴 in their day! That felt like a luxury that I didn’t have.

But I had time to go out and drink, shop for things I didn’t need, and waste time on my phone until the wee hours in the morning 🙃 So clearly I wasn’t prioritizing what my body was truly needing to help regulate my nervous system and restore my body and heal.

Hence why I was burning out haha 😆 Now I see it.

The Texas Music River Ranch is 111 acres located near the quaint village of Webberville, Texas, only 20 miles east of downtown Austin. The large oak and pecan trees amid the rolling green hills of this gorgeous ranch land are nestled on the banks of the lazy Colorado River.
We will have this entire space to ourselves to explore, share, eat, connect and be with Mother Earth.

New year, same mindset (time for you)

Just because the page has turned and we enter into a New Year doesn’t mean you need to rush into that new “diet” plan, new “meditation” plan, or new anything really.

There’s so much emphasis on, I’ll get it right next year. Well there’s always next year.

Nope, there’s always the present moment and you meet yourself where you are at. You don’t need that added stress because it’s trendy or social media tells you. Throw that out the window and start where you want to start.

I’m doing more me this year and what feels good for me and what I want to bring into this world. And that’s a lot of

We are so much more

It’s been a little bit since the women’s retreat back in September and looking back on the pictures has me in just awe again on how everyone that showed up to be there, really showed up for themselves and the community. What an experience. It also had/has me thinking long term goals and what I’m really wanting to achieve with my practice.

Getting certified in all the different kinds of modalities like breathwork/meditation/mindfulness/sound healing has been an absolute blessing. And being able to bring it to life for people that have never done that kind of work has been life changing.

But do I want more.. sure

Am I constantly changing… yep 👍🏻

Am I trying to find my flow.. oh yes

And here I am. Out there making it happen. Offering things I feel to help you achieve some peace. Some joy put back into your life.

Adding more retreats into my business is a must and I’m really diving into what that looks like in Austin and other places (thinking warm and tropical 🌴) But want to know from y’all what you want out of a retreat!!

Sound therapy.. what is it and how can it help you deal with your everyday stresses

On the body Tibetan bowls have been around for hundreds of years and used to help get to the underlying causes of your stress.

🌟depressions

🌟anxiety

🌟ptsd

🌟emotional blockage

🌟insomnia

🌟fears/doubts

These are just SOME of the issues that can be dealt with in a sound healing sessions.

We don’t know what we are holding onto in our bodies, but these bowls do. They work by placing each tuned bowl on a part of the body and striking the bowl in a very specific manner over and over until you are in a relaxed state and the frequencies enter on a deep cellular level to go where they need to balance the body out.

After one session you will begin to feel a difference. A shift

After 2-5 sessions the bowls can go deeper and deeper and the healing process begins.

No two people are the same so no two sessions have the same outcome. It all depends on what the bowls “find” in your body that need healing.

Into the wild 🍃 we go

What a wild ride into the jungle! Spent time in the Amazon jungle in Peru away from people, lights, pollution, social media, distractions.

Cleared my mind 🧠

Felt so at peace being surrounded by the animals 🐒 🦅 and the water and all the plants.

Feeling refreshed and rejuvenated!! The jungle can give us so much of our joy, power back. Deep inhales of all the oxygen can feel like a high.

When was the last time you stood in nature and truly felt the presence of being alive?

Coming off a beautiful 3 day NLP business training and still feeling in the vortex of all the yummy knowledge that I soaked up.

Wow 🤩

Feeling awake and just ready to go. Hit the road running full speed. Really tuning into what’s needed and calling to me.. 🌳 Ever get that bolt of energy that you needed to cross the finish line after a grueling 10me hike.. that was me. Running and running and running and never crossing any finish line. 😅

Feeling incredible that I get to introduce people into the world of higher vibrations and holding space to watch them play and connect. Joy is always something I’m trying to create and maintain in these unstable times, and want others to know they are supported, heard, and seen.

Since moving out to Austin I’ve been able to attend so many wonderful networking, and female meetup functions that I knew it was time to start stepping into what I wanted to bring to the Austin community.

With that being said I feel blessed to of found some badass people to start cohosting events with that I’m excited to see what blossoms from them.

Run, be free my little one 🌼

With all the chaos going on in this world and in our day to day life, we all need to find what keeps us grounded.
For me that’s taking time in nature 🌿
Feeling the sun ☀️ on your skin

Watching the ants 🐜 do their jobs crawling back and fourth working as if nobody is watching them.

Focusing on the ground beneath your shoes and how we rush around all day from meetings to appointments to working out, never appreciating how we even get there.

Breathing in the fresh oxygen coming off from the trees that gives us life and fills us up.

If we only have 5min a day to recharge then use those 5min to the fullest. Take a walk outside and leave your phone behind. Take your ear buds out and listen to every sound that comes by.
Feel the slowness.
Be in the present moment.

Splish-splashing around

Motivation:
success is not final
Failure is not fatal
It is the courage to continue that counts.

When out of the rat race of 9-5 and into the entrepreneurial life it’s a huge change in my structure. I don’t wake up and have to be somewhere at a certain time. Everyday looks different. Some days I’m working nonstop and can’t catch a break, then others I’m in bed till 10a and taking it slow.

Thinking we HAVE to be rushing everyday in our lives or we aren’t being productive or motivated is something society has instilled in our minds.

Take that day.

When I was working nights for months I literally was losing my sanity and woke up one morning and called in and said I’m taking a personal day so I can be present in my work for my team members the rest of the week.

I felt it took me to almost feeling burned out to take that step. (I won’t even go into how much s**t I got for it… another time and story)

I took a day to sleep. To recharge. To go outside and just take my shoes off in the grass… it was a turning point in my life before I even knew it.

Excited for the things to unfold in however long it takes them to unfold.

Wild child 🌻

It’s so much fun to be free 💛
To let your body feel nature and be one with it.

I’ts been super chaotic these past few weeks with moving and dealing with some Olive issues (update: she is almost back to her crazy self) that I haven’t spent much time as I would like outside.. in this Texas heat.

Also dedicating more time for just JOY.

Everyday.

Doing something joyful for myself.

Excited about hosting another New Moon 🌚 ceremony in Austin at this beautiful space out in nature. It’s surrounded by trees 🌲 a 🛖 yurt, and all happening on a wooden platform for us to gather and share together.
