New Roots

New Roots Empowering women to heal their mind/body by eliminating toxins & restoring balance without feeling restricted It's personalized and tailored to you.

Ayurveda is the world's oldest holistic healing system. It has been used for over 5000 years to cleanse and restore balance to the body and mind and to heal and prevent disease.

Ayurveda works to identify the root cause of the disorder, rather than treating an isolated set of symptoms or masking them with medication. At New Roots, I treat the whole person - by considering all aspects of their life, environment, history, work, diet, lifestyle and self-care. Ayurvedic Medicine IS NOT a one size fits all approach to healing.

The reaction I get when I mention doing a cleanse...

But if you..

• frequently lack energy
• struggle with digestive difficulties
• have intense cravings for spicy, salty, or sweet foods
• suffer from stress or feelings of anxiousness
• have trouble sleeping
• or tend to feel foggy-headed & lethargic
.then you should strongly consider doing a gentle cleanse.

Now I understand when you hear the term cleansing you're not only thinking of celebrity detoxes and diets, but you're wondering where you'll find the time, because as a now, you're already maxed out.

Luckily, an Ayurvedic cleanse isn't invasive or time consuming.

In fact, it's the opposite of diets and detoxes because where they leave you counting calories, feeling hungry, exhausted and deprived from natural nutrients; an Ayurvedic cleanse nourishes and heals your body by drawing out toxins and balancing the doshas.

That's why after a gentle cleanse my clients feel:
✨ light
✨ energized
✨ healthy
✨ motivated & positive

Okay, so when's the best time to cleanse?

ℕ𝕆𝕎 because traditionally, Ayurvedic cleanses are performed three times a year, corresponding with the change of seasons. And because spring is literally around the corner, you couldn't ask for a better time.

If you’re interested in learning how a cleanse can help you heal from the inside out, drop "SPRING 🌷" into my DMs✨ ⁣

Drinking water is good for you no matter what.
Agree or disagree? 🤔

While most would agree to this, they'd be wrong.

Since childhood we’ve been taught that water is fundamental to our survival.

And while that's true, there are still multiple things one should consider before taking a sip.

I say that because I see many women struggle with their digestion due to common misconceptions about how we should be consuming our food and beverages.

What if I told you that eating seasonally didn’t have to be difficult?

Sure, it seems like a daunting task, especially when your goal is to just get food on the table for your family.

But when we choose to maintain the same diet for the entire year (especially diets with highly processed foods) we’re depriving ourselves of natural nutrients, thus lowering our body’s immune system.

That means we’re voluntarily making our bodies (and our loved-ones bodies) prone to colds, flu’s and even seasonal allergies.

So how does one incorporate seasonal eating into their family's diet without becoming overwhelmed and stretched out thinner?

Well luckily, seasonal eating doesn’t have to be another to-do list item. It can be a fun and easy addition to anyone’s lifestyle by:
🥦 Having a plan
🥦 Not over complicating it
🥦 Getting the whole family involved

Remember, there’s no need to go in all at once. So start small to avoid getting overwhelmed by picking a few fruits and veggies off the list above that can easily be added into your family’s weekly meal plan.

What’s your go-to affirmation?

Don’t have one?
Gurllll, that needs to change 𝒶𝓈𝒶𝓅.

I can’t tell you how many women I talk to that say they don’t see a point in setting a daily affirmation or intention.

And I’m here to tell you, they’re doing themselves a ℍ𝕌𝔾𝔼 disservice.

While we think setting affirmations will be awkward, they are actually protecting us from feelings like:

⚡️Insecurities
⚡️Worthlessness
⚡️Guilt
⚡️Comparison
⚡️Personal bashing

It’s not abnormal that negative thoughts show up throughout the day (I mean we are human), but oftentimes we hope that the mom-guilt or self-loathing will go away if we don’t plan as big, or if we learn how to give ourselves some grace.

And while our heart might be in the right place, it’s not always easy to keep ourselves accountable.

That’s why my programs aren’t specifically focused on dietary and exercise practices. They cover all over healing - mind, body + spirit.

By providing you with weekly affirmations and journal prompts to choose from, in addition to wellness practices personalized for your needs, you’ll begin to heal from the inside out, making it easier for you to show up for those around you.

So if you’re ready to finally follow through on making a real change for yourself..

Do you know who you want to be but are feeling lost on how to get there?

If you’ve been feeling out of touch with yourself lately, you aren’t alone.

Oftentimes when I meet with moms they explain how lousy they’ve been feeling. Lost in their day-to-day, overwhelmed by their never ending to-do list and having little energy to do anything about it.

But does that mean they should give up on the possibility of ever feeling like their happy and healthy self again?

If you’re struggling to find the answer, let me help you with that.

The answer is no, no they shouldn’t.

Because feeling your best again 𝒾𝓈 𝓅𝑜𝓈𝓈𝒾𝒷𝓁𝑒.
💥 It’s possible for you get back to your ideal body weight
💥 To feel energized throughout the day without needing coffee
💥 To get a healthy night's sleep (7-8hrs uninterrupted)
💥 To feel motivated and alive

This is where the power of cleansing comes into play.

Done correctly, a gentle cleanse strengthens our digestive fire (or agni) which is known for improving overall mind/body health.

That's why my clients begin to see improved energy levels and mental clarity within just 1 week of working with me.

A cleanse serves to initiate a powerful process of renewal and healing on many different levels, which is why I always recommend them to my struggling momma’s out there.
