~ Tomorrow is Now Solo Trip ~

As a professional within the eating disorder space, it can be tricky to share my own endeavors related to movement and exercise. I started riding with Peloton when we were deep into the pandemic - never did I think I would have the opportunity to “play” with some of my fave instructors at classes live in studio. I lived this dream in early August on my “Tomorrow is Now” solo trip to NYC. Why are these instructors some of my faves? Here are their taglines:

It’s fascinating how we often offer compassion to others but struggle to give it to ourselves. We deserve that same grace, yet we tend to hold ourselves to higher standards. Let’s challenge this pattern and practice offering ourselves the same love and kindness we freely give. Thank you for reminding us of the importance of self-compassion. 💛

Sunset, May 22nd:

My father-in-law unexpectedly passed away. It was an honor to be with him and family to say goodbye - surrounded by so much love. 🩵💙🩵

The pictures, roughly, are as follows:
-sunset from the hospital window (one of his favorite songs was Sunrise, Sunset from Fiddler On The Roof)
-a couple pictures of the floral arrangements (peonies and roses were among his favorites)
-a recent picture from Easter of Darren, Caleb, and Bill
-Addison at her graduation with a test tube taped to her containing an ECG from grandpa (his heart beat was with her)
-Caleb and his baseball team wearing sweatbands for their tournament in honor of Bill
-a beautiful rainbow over the house while Bill’s grandkids played underneath

You don’t get to choose your father-in-law, but, I was blessed with the best! He loved coming to soccer, futsal, baseball, basketball, flag football, gymnastics, and track - his cheering, among so many other things, will be missed. 🩵
