Welcome to Park Hill Smile

We’ve officially rebranded! As many of you know, Dr. Gent is the new owner and provider at our practice on Fairfax Street. We’ve kept the amazing team and exceptional patient care, but with some new features and updates we think you’ll love.

While the word “Family” has stepped out of our name, we still proudly care for patients of all ages with the same patience, compassion, and attention to detail you’ve come to expect.

New Tech: You may notice some upgraded equipment and dental products around the office—each carefully chosen to improve your comfort, convenience, and oral health.

New Patient Portal: We’re introducing Oryx, a dental software created by the Kois Institute. With your own online portal (“Oryx MyChart”), you’ll be able to:
    •    View dental records and exam notes
    •    Access treatment recommendations
    •    Make online payments
    •    Stay in control of your complete oral health

We’re excited about how much easier this will make your dental journey!

We’re off on Monday!

In observance of Labor Day, our office will be closed on Monday, September 1st and will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, September 2nd.

Breaking Bad cosplay?

Nope, just our clinical team and their new mercury filtration system for safe amalgam removal!

Our practice follows protocols for safely removing amalgam fillings set by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.

You may not know that amalgam fillings have mercury in them, and mercury particles are released during filling replacements… This filtration system makes sure our team and patients are protected from mercury during these procedures.

So, don’t be surprised by the slightly intimidating vacuum and respirators on our team if you need an amalgam removed— it’s all to support your overall health!

Dr. Kira’s last, bittersweet day at SFD! It’s been such a fun summer and we will miss her lively, effervescent presence at the practice— as will all the patients who fell in love with her during her few months here!
