I just slept for 11 hours 🤯😴 and I’m feeling gooooood!

I’ve always been a hard sleeper, even working night shifts and 2-3 jobs, sleep always came easily and deeply.

Since I’ve having kids my sleep slowly but surely turned into a disaster of frequent waking, frustrated tossing and turning, and instead of looking forward to some deep rest, I started dreading the long, restless night.

About 6 months ago I finally said enough, and started reading, learning and sought help. A naturopathic doctor, an acupuncturist, a heavy metal detox, adrenal support, smart supplementation, stress reduction (meditation is AMAZING for sleep), new boundaries and a super supportive husband who saw the need for me to rest have brought me back into balance.

Sleep is the MOST important tool your body has to heal, repair, integrate you’re experiences and recharge for your busy life.

Gena is an Astrology Expert Moon Mama, full of spirit, patience, and the BEST listener.  She brings an air of playfulness and beauty everywhere she goes!

Emilee is an old soul who isn’t afraid to do the work.  She’s on a deep journey with her soul, and is here to hold space for you to heal alongside her. She is gifted in knowing when someone needs support, space, movement, or just a good nap.

Danielle is an Acupuncturist and energy healer, and is devoted to aiding in the release of pain, trauma, and emotional baggage weighing you down. When we are light, we are free!

We’ll also be joined by the fantastic Willow! With her intuitive gifts, she will be guiding us to connect with our deepest selves.  

Last but not least, the wonderful Samantha will guide is through two unique yoga sessions to get you out of your head and into your body!

How a hike can turn anxiety into perspective 👟 🌲

My kids started back in preschool last week and WOW, I haven't had predictable, extended time to myself in SO LONG.
*
Somehow I managed to spend 29+ longed for, dreamed of, kid-free hours spinning in circles, worrying about school lunches, and bedtime and the complete overwhelm of having that amount of time to work with.
*
What should I do? What COULD I do? Pick up more patients? Workout? Write? Read? Nap? Hike? Bike? Organize?!
*
I finally snapped out of it during a much needed 6 mile hike with Shane.
*
I just worked through and talked out all my worries, concerns, all tiny little things nagging at me. After taking the time with no other distractions to just let myself think it all through, it became clear that there wasn't even a problem.
*Nothing needed to be solved or re-worked.
*
I just need to chill!
*
Get out of my head, into my body, and enjoy the time I've been given.
*
So this week, I'm going into our school days with a quieter mind, grounded body, and a list of what I need to get done + and what I'd like to get done to keep me centered.
*
An outdoor reset is just what I needed to bring me back to gratitude, and I'm so grateful to live where I can do that! @ Gore Creek Trail Vail, CO

You are.

You can start something, then stop.

You can like him, love her, get to know them and decide they don’t feel good to you anymore.

You can leave your dream job because it’s not your dream anymore

You can commit, then realize it’s not working.

You can be so, so pumped about a new project, and then feel drained and anxious and back out.

You can have someone else finish what you started.

You can leave, then go back.

You can find a creative solution to stop doing anything that doesn’t feel right to you.

You are not a disappointment.

Or flaky.

Or uncommitted.

You are a human.

You are an ever-evolving soul

Discovering what feels good and what does not.

And you don’t need anyone’s permission

To do you.

What does a gut feeling feel like for you?

Do you get chills, goosebumps, or a surge of energy when something just FEELS right?

Maybe you feel a drop of flip in your stomach when you should avoid something?

These feelings are not meaningless- they are your internal guidance system, and the more you learn to tune into them, the easier it becomes to make decisions, big and small.  

My favorite exercise to strengthen these signs is by practicing with things that you already know!

Sit down and think about something that is negative in your life.  What does that feel like?  Heavy? Nauseous? Foggy and headache-y?

Now switch your focus to something or someone that you enjoy, love, and lights you up.  How does that feel?  Light and easy?  Do you get chills or a sense of relaxation and excitement?

The more you can tune into how your body feels about certain situations, the easier it will be for you to trust your gut instincts and hone your intuition!
