Hi everyone, we’re so excited that our following has grown! It’s been a minute since we introduced ourselves so we thought it would be a great time too.

We are the co founders of Meraki Ways, Jason and Madison.

We’ve been incredibly passionate about living a healthy lifestyle while being good to the planet. Yoga has always been part of our daily lives and we have decided to dive deeper into our practice by receiving their 200hr teacher training certification.

As a couple, parents, and business owners we felt there was something missing and decided to birth Meraki Ways as an all-inclusive community for likeminded individuals.

Throughout the years, we have taken steps to reduce our footprint and hope to share tips with others through gardening, composting, and up-cycling. We have also explored alternative diets and have become vegan and gluten free (Madison has Celiac Disease). We are constantly on the go but have found great ways to eat healthy and sustainably meal plan and prep to reduce food waste and minimize impact.

In our spare time, we enjoy excursions into nature, soccer, biking, surfing, snowboarding, and taking walks with their tiny humans and pups.

Meet your yogi for the January 22nd-27th retreat, Claudia Gallo ✨

Originally from San Jose, Costa Rica, Claudia RYT 500, had spent over a decade traveling, living, and teaching around the world. She lived and taught mostly in Malaysia but constantly took workshops and other trainings in other parts of South East Asia and USA, always deepening her practice and learning creative ways of sharing the yoga traditions. She has recently moved back to Costa Rica and has been working and collaborating with different Yoga retreat centers, studios, and communities, managing and facilitating retreats and offering her classes and special events.

With a background in sports and adventure and the third generation of instructors, Claudia's energetic yet serene personality invites you on a journey within. Her well-rounded classes focus on the awareness of the body, the importance of the breath, calming of the mind, and opening of the heart, inviting you to a deeper connection and balance of the mind, body, nature, and spirit.

Each of Claudia’s classes is creative and sometimes challenging yet always very grounding. She pays special attention to proper alignment, and her cues are clear for both beginners and advanced practitioners. Claudia will always make you feel comfortable, at ease, and inspired with her down-to-earth personality. Her classes flow gracefully, and her voice nurtures you to places deep within.
