Our Spring Semester Online Teacher Support Group is starting soon. This convenient online support group for teachers is designed to help them navigate the challenges of the second semester. Each session will offer participants the opportunity to share challenges and concerns, develop community, learn strategies and skills to help get through rough days, and help clarify professional and personal goals. As a therapist and former public school teacher, I bring a unique blend of knowledge, experience, and empathy to the support group, offering participants practical strategies and skills to help them in and outside the classroom.
Sessions will take place 3/26, 4/9, 4/23, and 5/7, 4:30pm-6:00pm. Participants may attend one session, all sessions, or whatever works best.

Happy World Mental Health Day! Musicians face a lot of challenges to their mental health on a regular basis. I'm excited about this Sunday's upcoming Mental Health for Musicians workshop! The topic this month is building a Mental Health Toolkit. What does that even mean? It means identifying and learning your own source of strategies, skills, resources, and supporters to help you manage the specific challenges of being a musician. If you're interested, registration link is below. Feel free to comment or message with questions. Registration will remain active through 5pm on Thursday, Oct. 12th. https://forms.gle/oswemNhjMPzrRaFa8

Hey folks, I'm so excited for the October edition of my Mental Health Matters for Musicians Workshop! Here is a little bit more about what we'll be delving into! (10/15 6pm-8pm)
The last several years as I've worked in various mental health settings, I've learned the importance of creating a proactive plan to address our mental health.
The transition to Fall can be challenging for many artists and musicians as we face seasonal depression and the crazy summer festival/gig season slowing down. Many of us are also facing added financial stresses, and the now all too familiar cycle of COVID cancellations.
Now is a great time to make time for your mental health, and to gain resources and strategies to help you make it through the next few months.
Click on the link to register. I have lots of room for sliding scale/reduced fees if you're interested but worried about cost.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
