Residents from Carillon at Belleview Station took a special trip to the iconic The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs this week. From exploring the beautiful grounds and charming shops to enjoying a delicious lunch at La Taverne 🍽️🌸—it was a day full of laughter, connection, and timeless elegance.

Our Executive Director Shannon Dionese was the first to get flocked! 🦩🦩Hearing the knock on the door to be surprised by 30 flamingos and to see her Culinary Director Nicole and Life Enrichment Director Brian in full fledged flamingo garb was a hoot. This awesome Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s fundraiser helps our team to raise money for Alzheimer’s awareness. As we take this disease process seriously, we also figure out how to have fun as a team to create more awareness.

Shannon is the first selected to donate and now it is her turn to spread her wings and flock the next donor (a friend, colleague, etc)! This is such a FUNdraiser! Our Women’s July Luncheon was filled with patriotic flair, warm conversation, and a mouthwatering menu crafted by our talented culinary team.

Residents enjoyed a cozy potato chowder, a fresh summer berries chicken salad with vinaigrette, and finished with a refreshing berry tart for dessert. ✨
