👉🏻Let's understand what they are and why they become chronic long-term issues, so we best see how to treat them.

This is so important because once we understand this these myofascial pain issues are vascular/chemical issues, we realize that they can't be treated effectively by "stretching" or "massaging" them away.

Deep within tiny areas of muscle, it's become acidic. And this begins to signal to neighboring areas and eventually even the whole body that it's in a state of crisis. The whole body is primed to experience more pain as a "safety measure". We need to short circuit this chemical/vascular issue as soon as possible for full recovery.

What are the Essentials to Successful TMJ Treatment⁉️🤨

TENSION is the sole cause of TMJ and TMJ-related pain and symptoms- headaches, tinnitus, etc.

It has 2 sources that must be thoroughly addressed/eliminated throughout the neck, face, jaw and shoulders-

👉🏻Muscles & Joints.

Massage, exercises, stretches, and even night guards/splints are ineffective ways to address this tension.

Once tension is addressed, then empowering behaviors and stable positioning must be reinforced to ensure that the all the initial causes of that tension are released. Only then can we ensure the tension leading to your pain is gone 🎉 AND resolved so it will not return🙌🏻
