Aerial Acrobatic Arts Festival

The Festival showcases semi-professional, emerging, and re-emerging aerialists in two judged show competitions. To be accepted into the Festival shows, aerialists submit videos for review by a screening panel. The judging criterion is based on standards of Aerial Festivals from around the world. The Festival welcomes Innovations as a special category judged by the Audience. One up and coming Young Aerialist is selected to perform as a guest of the Festival. The Festival offers a range of workshops and Discussions with leading experts and our judging panel: Teacher Training, Choreography, Act Development, Audition Preparation,Flexibility, Rigging Basics, Aerial skills on Silks, Hoop, and Trapeze. Since 2011, over 60 aerialists have performed in the Festival shows. Over 186 aerialists have applied to the Festival. Each year Denver is a destination for aerialists who want to Connect, Be Inspired, Learn, and Have Fun! Our judging panel and the audience select the winners of the Festival. All aerial acts must be predominantly acrobatic with a full range of expression. Artists from each year of the Festival have gone on to accept long and short term contracts with venues, shows, and production companies.
