A piece like this brings all 5 elements into balance, which brings instant balance to a room💜Lavender the plant of calm & healing. Sunsets mark an ending. This was the first acrylic canvas painting I’ve ever done....and I’m swiftly realizing that these paintings may never be “done” because as days go by I see more things to add😂 If you haven’t noticed, I loooove color. How could I be named Butterfly and not love color?

How do we know when we are genuinely receiving a message? First, we pay attention to the symbols and/or words coming our way. Then we notice the frequency of their appearance. I know some people who think every single thing that crosses their path means something, but I think that's a bit much. I generally only consider a message if it happens repeatedly--especially within days of each event. Yesterday I was dipping my feet in a salt water pool (salt water is healing & clearing) I noticed a dead cicada (locust) floating in the pool. I scooped him up and threw him in the grass. Today, I walked into the post office and saw a cicada on the floor. I scooped him up on an envelope and safely released him. According to Native American medicine, Cicada represent happiness stemming from the past. Cicada may pupate underground for up to 13 years before hatching out. Yesterday i peeked out my back door to check on Sir Gawain because he spends his days on the back patio. I noticed him staring intently at the fence, followed his gaze and saw a rat snake leaving my porch and returning to the nearby cotton field. He probably smelled the cat and retreated. I am never pleased to see snakes because they mean change is coming, in my experience not pleasant change. Rat snakes, in particular mean accelerated movement requiring decisive action. The red winged black bird & his distinctive call are found near water and marshy areas. I grew up listening to these
sounds, and I am really enjoying them now that I'm back. People often remark about the birds singing when they call me. If I'm not out in nature with the birds, I have videos playing.
Bird song is one of the purest sound frequencies on the planet.
