There are lots of stray cats in Turkey but, for the most part, people seem to try to take care of them. I see food and water bowls out everywhere.
If I were independently wealthy one of the things I would do is come here (I'm in Antalya now) and create a free neutering and spaying clinic. The other thing I would do - more of what my real life is - is teach Pulse Diagnosis to any Practitioner of Chinese medicine who would listen because THAT is the most important part of acupuncture therapy.

Anyway, here is a house that someone built for local cats (kediler) near my friend's home.
