If you have ever struggled with trying to do intuitive eating “right,” I hope these tips will give you some clarity.

As a dietitian and intuitive eating counselor, I’ve seen just how misunderstood intuitive eating can be, especially online, where quick soundbites often leave out the nuance.

Here’s what intuitive eating isn’t:
- A hunger/fullness “diet”
- A sneaky weight loss plan
- Anti-health or anti-nutrition
- “Eat whatever, whenever” chaos
- A one-size-fits-all approach

It’s really more about reconnecting with your body and nourishing yourself in a way that fits your life and your experiences, not following another list of someone else’s rules.
