PGAM may be over, but the conversations it started shouldn’t be.

This past month gave us the opportunity to be part of important moments, from the 4th Annual Behavioral Summit to a different kind of gathering, the Problem Gambling Awareness (Un)Conference hosted by Sunrise Community for Recovery & Wellness that took place this past week.

The Problem Gambling Awareness (Un)Conference brought together a diverse group of advocates, clinicians, policymakers and those in recovery. Michael Sciandra, Executive Director of the Nebraska Council on Problem Gambling, opened the event as keynote speaker and helped set the tone for the day. Olivier W., our Director of Business Development, was also there representing Kindbridge.

The event created space for open dialogue, shared experiences, and honest perspectives on how problem gambling shows up and how support can look in practice. It also gave people the opportunity to learn from one another and challenge the stigma that often keeps people from seeking help.

Thank you to the Sunrise Community for Recovery & Wellness, Center of Excellence for Gambling Addiction Policy and Practice at APNC, TELUS Health, and NCDHHS for putting this event together!

Awareness doesn’t end with a month, and neither does the work.

Check out more details about the event at our link in bio.

David Yeager. As a veteran and a Behavioral Health Coach at Kindbridge, David knows firsthand that the road to recovery is paved with moments of vulnerability.

In this reel, he shares how what felt like a moment of relief turned into something he couldn’t control, and the moment he realized he needed help.

Stories like this are a reminder that problem gambling doesn’t always look the way people expect, and it often starts quietly. Hearing from people who have lived it can make it easier to recognize the signs and understand what support can look like

Today is the last day of Problem Gambling Awareness Month, but support doesn’t end here.

If you or someone you know is struggling, you can follow us for ongoing resources, visit kindbridge.com, or call 1-877-426-4258 to talk through what support might look like for you 💙
