Derby 4-H Club

Derby 4-H Club The Derby 4H Club meets the 1st Monday of every month at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church at 1062 E. Chet Smith Ave in Derby, Kansas at 7 PM unless otherwise noted.

What is 4-H?
4-H is an informal, educational organization for youth between the ages of 7-19. Volunteers provide local club organizational leadership. 4-H is open to all youth regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. 4-H is kids having fun and learning with their friends. 4-H is a universal, primary prevention youth development program. 4-H focuses on leadership, citizenship, and life skills.- From the Sedgwick County Extension Center Webpage

The January club meeting falls on January 1st. The meeting has been changed to Tuesday January 2nd at the Wehrman Ranch—10116 E. 63rd St S. in Derby at 7:00 pm. (The church was unavailable). Have a Merry Christmas and we will see you all next year!

Full program at last night’s meeting: Demonstrations by Macie, Nathan and Quintin. Everyone enjoyed a game of “Train Wreck”. Members also decorated placemats for assisted living residents for Valentine’s Day.

4-H Day is on Saturday February 11 at Derby North. If you want to participate in the club’s model meeting, please text/email Melanie or comment below with the 4Her’s names. I also need to know who is willing to have a speaking part in the new business section. We will probably be scheduled around 8:30 am.
