Meow! 😻

Meet Stanley and her feline friend Nick, who live at Holiday Hartland Hills. Nick is a 4-year-old Siamese cat. Stanley rescued him from a local humane society 3 years ago. "He's very affectionate and loves to be held," shares Stanley.

We know that pets can make the best of friends, and love learning about our four-legged residents and their owners.

“I truly love what I do," shares Yvette, the Hospitality Manager at Holiday Crescent Heights. "Being around people brings me joy, and I’m lucky to work with such a supportive, caring team."

Yvette’s passion for creating a warm, welcoming environment shines through in everything she has done for her community over the past 14 years.

"No one is ever alone here," she adds. "We always lift each other up.”

There's nothing quite like the feeling you get when you finally find the right puzzle piece. Residents at Holiday Thornton Place know that feeling of satisfaction after taking part in a speed puzzling competition.

"It was a fun activity," exclaimed Sherry, one of the participants.

Three teams battled it out for the title of Puzzle Champions. Fueled by plenty of pizza and root beer, it was a fun afternoon of teamwork and laughter. 🧩

Rockin' around the clock at Holiday Pinegate and Atria Ironwood Estates!

These communities turned up the volume with rock 'n’ roll parties inspired by the retro sounds of the '50s. Poodle skirts and a swinging beat had residents on their feet, boogying and bopping.

"Nothing like rocking the house and hitting the dance floor," shares Marie, a resident at Pinegate.

We love seeing everyone have a ball!

Residents at Atria Ironwood Estates had the pleasure of taking a scenic bike ride with Martina at Trishaw 4 Three.

"We really enjoyed the day with great friends and a fantastic bike ride," shares Phyllis, photographed riding with her husband Bob.

The fresh air, sunshine and wind on their faces left everyone smiling.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we savored the flavors of Guatemala. Known as the birthplace of chocolate, Guatemalan cuisine blends Mayan tradition with Spanish influences to create vibrant and tasty dishes.

On the menu: tostones, guacamole, enchiladas, refried black beans, with cucumber salad, and tres leches cake.

We can't wait to see – and taste – the cuisine from our destination next month!

With Atria since 2021, Lila is always in a great mood and shares a special bond with residents. "You can always count on Lila for a smile and help. What a ray of sunshine," shares Wendy, one of the residents. Her kindness and bright smile make every mealtime feel like a moment of happiness.

March’s Taste of HOLIDAY lunch took us to India. We served chicken curry for the entree and kheer for desert to resounding compliments from residents and their friends. To complete our cultural culinary immersion, we enjoyed watching The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

We can’t wait to see, and taste, the cuisine of our destination next month!

Last night, 22 residents, staff, and family members attended Ireland with Michael at the Stockbridge Theater. This was an amazing show complete with Irish music, dancing, story telling and comedy. This was a great way to kick off our St. Patrick's Day weekend!

Thank you to the staff of the stockbridge, especially Alyssa Gillin, for assisting with making this outing possible!
