Hey there little members! With the new bathroom sink comes a new step stool. We’re still not entirely sure what happened to make our sink take a leap from the wall. We thought it would be a good idea to help our little ice cream fans reach the sink. Ice cream enthusiast O is demonstrating a proper technique. Hey there ! Heads up, our AC isn’t working. Better to find out now than in the middle of June. We’ll be open. And it may be a little warm. Good thing we have ice cream to cool you down!

Regular hours this weekend. Finishing off the feature flavor from last week, since we were closed Sunday. Will have a new one once that is gone. Come get some!

Hi . It is with great sadness that we have decided not to open today. There was an incident involving our bathroom sink yesterday, resulting in it being unusable. In order to make space for a plan to repair the plumbing and replace the sink, I have decided it’s best if we are not open for service today. This is a huge bummer.

We worked really hard the last couple of days to pack pints for y’all to take home and enjoy for this beautiful long weekend. I will be open from now until Noon for folks to swing in to pick up a pint or two.

I am hopeful that a swift repair plan will come together and Scoops will return to regular hours on May 28. Stay tuned.

Have you colored one of our ice cream coloring pages yet? Did you know you can print them at home, color or decorate them to your hearts content, and then send them our way? My cousin’s daughters sent their’s all the way from Kansas City. Print one off or come in to pick one up. We’ll keep adding them to our collection through the end of the month. Then will vote for their favorites. Winners will receive a free scoop! Find the link to print yours in our bio!

Hey there Scoops friends! Help us decorate the windows! While we have to have the windows partially covered, let’s cover them with Scoops coloring pages. Grab a coloring page at the shop or print it off at home (link on the LinkTree in our bio). Make it your own with crayons, markers, glitter, collage, or whatever floats your boat. Bring it back in. We’ll post them all!! Bring them by May 24th and we’ll enter them into a contest for prizes! There will be different age groups, even adults. Y’all will help vote for the top scoops! Then prizes will be awarded the first week of June, which is also when we can remove the covering on our windows.

Hey there ! We started a new Feature Flavor of the Week today. The day got away from me and I forgot to post about it. So here we are, as many of you guessed correctly - Dutch Letter! If you’ve been in central Iowa for a while you know that Tulip Time in Pella (about 45 minutes from DSM) is always Mother’s Day weekend. It seemed like the perfect flavor to have in the dipping cabinet.

We added the last of the new May flavors to the case today! Plus it’s Sunday and it’s time for the Sunday Crunch! Serving the broken waffle cones from service this week for half the price of a regular waffle cone! Come get some!

Cherry Lime Sorbet - super luscious blend of dark sweet cherries and fresh squeezed limes. 🍒🍋‍🟩

Arnie P - a few years ago I hopped on the idea of Arnold Palmer beverages! This is a combination of a tart lemon ice cream and a black tea ice cream. The result is a creamy, yet refreshing, scoop that makes you want to sit on the deck in the porch swing and listen to the wind chimes singing with the birds.
