Most people who have performance anxiety are externally confident and because of this trap themselves in a never ending state of self-fulfilling prophecies and being always less than their best self

“Seek life like water, drink death like wine”

In order to be successful, you have to want it.
But with want comes fear.

Fear of not succeeding.
Fear of not having it.
Fear of humiliation.

If you don’t want it then there’s no fear of not having it.
So how do we want something without also adding fear?

You can’t.
But…

You can get excited about the potential for failure.
You can use the pressure as fire to light your soul.
You can utilize the threat of failure as a catalyst to ignite your presence and focus.

Ultimately, in this space on the knife’s edge between life and death, you will find a strange carelessness to failure combined with an intense desire for success.

Want but with a carelessness to failure.
Always determined.
