Our wonderful Activity Director, Dawn Agan, is getting married this Saturday to her fiancé, Mark Mitchell! 🥂💍
Earlier this week, Dawn celebrated with some of our residents at a special Wedding Shower Party. It was a heartwarming event filled with laughter, stories, and cherished memories of weddings past.
What a beautiful way to share such a special moment. Congratulations, Dawn!

Last Friday, we held our annual school supply drive! This was the before picture. By the end of the day, staff had gone through and picked out supplies for their kids heading back to school this week.

We had a fantastic time at our State Fair Party at Valley View Village! 🎪The Shriner Clowns brought smiles all around with their fun balloon creations, silly antics, and entertaining performances. Residents enjoyed classic fair treats like corn dogs and lemonade while soaking in the festive atmosphere. A truly memorable day for everyone!

Today was our 1st annual Valley View's Got Talent! We celebrated State Fair Week highlighting staff and resident talents. We listened to the beautiful vocals of Isabelle and Lily Edge and KaraJane Curl can sing too!! Matt did a little comedy show. Brenda shared her art portfolio (beautiful art work!!) Amanda showed her talent of making wedding centerpieces and made Lemonade Pie for all to enjoy!! Residents shared their talents of arts, crafts, flower arranging and sewing. We have such talented staff and residents here at Valley View Village!!

Just Clowning Around

More than 16 years ago, Don and his wife brought joy to Valley View Village and other adult communities as beloved clowns “Uncle Mack and Aunt Maybe.” Their performances filled hearts with laughter and warmth.

Recently, Don returned to Valley View for skilled care, remembering the exceptional care and Christian atmosphere that made a lasting impression. His quick wit and joyful spirit lit up our skilled unit, reminding us all of the power of humor and heart.

To celebrate Don’s “graduation” from skilled care, our nurse Matt surprised everyone with clown noses, bringing smiles full circle and honoring Don’s legacy of laughter.

At Valley View Village, we’re proud to care for those who’ve cared for us and to celebrate every joyful moment along the way.
