**Don’t judge the shawl too much by this photo, it hasn’t been blocked yet.**

Update on the white skull shawl: Only 21 tassels to go!!! We’re in the home stretch, as they say!

Honestly the tassels are whipping up pretty quickly now, and I’m pretty sure I’ll have it done soon, as long as my body and life, allows. After that I’ll steam block it, and it’ll be on its way to its new owner Rosemary Pierce

As I may have mentioned, (I genuinely can't remember; Time is a VERY big blur). I have been sick with some viral bug. Today is the first day I felt about 25-30% better overall, compared to how things have been, from the last 3 to 4 days. Today is day 4 or 5, so that's promising, but we will see.

I just wanted to hop on and just apologize. I've been trying my best to focus on recovering, not on fulfilling my commissioned orders. Without my health, there's no way I'll be able to do commissioned orders to begin with, but I wanted to just have those who have commissioned something from me; They will get worked on within the next couple of days, and I can finish them before the end of the month, (that's the goal at least). Some will definitely be done well before that, but I just wanted to say I've lost essentially 5 days of potential progress I could have made on these commissions because I'm sick, and I absolutely hate that, but it's out of my hands.

I thank you for your patience, I haven't forgotten about anyone. I'm just trying to get as healthy as fast as I possibly can, because frankly I'm miserable, and I can't imagine a single person on the planet who wants to feel this awful forever.

I got my listings up, for the most part. I just need to add the smaller button designsi, but I’m limited to a certain number of options in one listing, which is why there are 3 different types of listings for the 35 different pride flag bracelets.

With the buttons though my plan is to limit it to just 1 listing of as many designs as it’ll allow, of the two sizes, (1.5-inch and 2.5-inch), and when things sell out, I’ll replace that design with another I have available.

Thank you for all the love and support ❤️

*Update: Commissions are closed at this time, I want to make some adjustments before I open them up again.

I'd like to address the cardboard elephant in the room. If you've been to Partial Arts at all in the past month, you have probably noticed the mountain of Amazon boxes near the entrance. It seems that our mountain has prompted some theories that I'd like to clear up; most notably the hurtful assumption that we purchase items to stock the store with. I'm quite pleased to tell you that all of the items in this store have been donated by individuals and businesses in our local community and beyond - including the leaning tower of Amazon boxes.

Awhile back, we recieved an email from a Canadian craft company that was in the process of shutting their US operations down, which included clearing their inventory out of Amazon warehouses in the States. With the tariffs imposed, it was more cost effective for them to donate this product to a US charity than have it shipped back to them in Canada. So, we became the reciepients of a VERY large, VERY generous donation of craft kits: specifically (~1000) diamond painting kits, and (~550) paint by number kits. So the boxes came....and didn't stop coming. During this time, we still accepted our regularly scheduled donations, which obviously took priority over unopened boxes we knew the general contents of.

So, that's the story. We have been doing our best to free up this space by taking boxes and boxes to our storage unit (in Ankeny) and make-shift storage in our volunteer coordinator's basement. It is a process that takes time and many, many hands (and car loads).

I want to thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we navigate the logistics of a donation of this size.

-Donna
