Last night many members of our Orchestrate Hospitality team attended the 2023 Iowa Restaurant Association Culinary Affair! Orchestrate had a total of three chefs included in the seven course dinner.

Chef Michael Kolodzej (Executive Chef at CentroDSM) prepared the Soup course. He served Wellfleet Oyster Chowder made with bacon, yukon potato, leek, vermouth, Lola's Hot jalapeño serrano, and A Buttermilk Fried Oyster.

Chef Kate Cobb (Pastry Chef at Gateway Market & Cafe) prepared the Intermezzo course. She served Lemon Posset made with a blueberry dust, thyme and a toasted oat shortbread crumble

Chef Alex Gabrielson (Executive Chef at Liberty Street Kitchen) prepared the Entrée. He served Sakura Farms Pork Short Rib with a homemade biscotti, seared brussels sprouts, pickled red cabbage, Boetje's mustard with a parmesan cream sauce

Orchestrate Hospitality no longer manages The Fletcher Kitchen + Bar in Ankeny. Over the past several weeks, we have been phasing out of daily operations to support this full management transition.

Orchestrate Hospitality-branded gift cards purchased at the Fletcher are still redeemable at all participating Orchestrate properties.

Part of our Orchestrate Hospitality family got to participate in the 2022 Iowa Restaurant Association Culinary Affair. This event consists of 7 Courses made by 7 Chefs paired with 7 unique wines and is an evening to showcase culinary artistry with some of Central Iowa’s most accomplished chefs.

Kat Louk, Sous Chef at Django blew everyone away with her pork dish for the feature entrée! Her Braised Pork Shoulder included a gold beet purée, balsamic glazed radicchio, roasted red radishes and pickled mustard seeds.

Recently, the Orchestrate Hospitality team celebrated two of our own during the Iowa Restaurant Association Hospitality showcase.

Congrats to our Director of Operations, Kori Teeter, on being named to the Iowa Restaurant Association 2021 40 Women to Watch in hospitality list!

And another big congrats to Sous Chef Kat Louk from Django who participated in the culinary competition, taking two awards home - including people's choice.
