A couple of years ago I was doing a visioning sessions and was prompted to assess, via a pie chart, how much time I devoted to my relationships. Not simply liking posts, but real engagement like a couple of hours over coffee, Long phone calls, a meme dump (like a lot back and forth) writing a letter. You knowβ¦ doing s**t together. While I perceived I was allocating a lot of time, there was definitely room for more. Thereβs always room for more when it come to relationship because love is genuinely expansive and sustaining and it is the most valuable asset you will ever have. It keeps you healthier and happier and makes you grow. It makes you a better human.
