⭐️MEET THE STAFF MONDAY⭐️
This week we are highlighting Dr. Beth Hinson!
Beth Hinson grew up in the small town of Mediapolis, Iowa, where her passion for medicine and helping others began early. While just starting college, Beth earned her paramedic license, a milestone that would shape her commitment to care and service. She attended the University of Iowa, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology, and later pursued her dream of becoming a veterinarian by attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Beth completed her clinical year at Louisiana State University, working alongside talented veterinarians who helped refine her skills and deepen her knowledge. After graduation, she moved to Chillicothe, Ohio, where she had the unique opportunity to learn veterinary medicine from seasoned practitioners who had been serving the profession for as long as Beth had been alive. In 2011, the pull of home brought her back to Iowa, where she first worked in Coralville, then in Mount Vernon, before returning once again to Coralville to join the team at Goosetown Animal Hospital. Never one to stop learning, Beth is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree for practicing veterinarians through the University of Iowa. When not working or studying, Beth enjoys a wide range of hobbies, including cross-stitching, reading, glasswork, walking, riding bikes, cooking, baking, and curling. Her many talents and dedication to her community and profession continue to make her a valued part of the Goosetown family.
