First up, meet Alex!

Alex grew up in Ankeny and is a proud UNI alum with a degree in Public Relations & Marketing. After college, she made her way back to the Des Moines area, worked in Human Resources, and joined the True Roots team in December of 2025.

She’s passionate about holistic health, loves building genuine connections, and truly cares about helping people feel their best 🤍

There are so many things we love and appreciate about him. His heart for the people he serves is unmatched. He truly cares about every single practice member who walks through our doors and shows that care in everything he does.

He supports our team like we are his own family, always encouraging us, guiding us, and helping us grow. The atmosphere we strive to create at True Roots, one where families feel educated, supported, and cared for, is something he captures completely 🤎

And if you have ever wondered who keeps our team meetings on track when things get a little goofy… yes, it is absolutely Dr. Jim. We would never finish a meeting without him.
