Meet Alexia Chally, ARNP, DNP, CPNP-PC, a neurology provider who has had a lifelong passion for pediatrics. Her care philosophy centers on trust, advocacy and open communication to ensure every child and caregiver feels deeply heard and supported. She recently became a member of the top 1% club by achieving the 100th percentile rank in recommended provider, according to her patients.

Diagnosed with leukemia at just 3 years old, Madi completed her final chemotherapy treatment at Blank Children’s, surrounded by the care team and family who walked alongside her every step of the way. Last year, she also became one of the first patients at Blank Children’s to receive Blinatumomab, an innovative immunotherapy treatment now becoming part of the standard of care for leukemia.

We’re honored to be part of Madi’s journey and so grateful to celebrate this milestone with her family. Read more about Madi's story here:

After 806 days of treatments, procedures and transfusions, 5-year-old Madi Seivert of Granger rang the bell at Blank Children’s Hospital to celebrate being cancer-free.

Shout out to Vicki Osborn, therapy technician, from Blank Pediatric Therapy for being honored with a FOCUS Spotlight Award! Vicky has a heart for her patients and their families when they come to their therapy visits. She warmly engages with them creating a welcoming environment. Vicki has also donated toys to the department that get used in their sessions to either motivate or help them work hard. Recently, she brought a patient multiple self-care items and a few outfits for her to wear over the summer. This patient has limited resources at home and Vicky went above and beyond to provide her with some necessities.

Lisa was recently honored with a FOCUS Spotlight award after being nominated by Dr. Audrey Bush, who shared her family’s experience navigating care for her daughter. From explaining treatment options to guiding them through serial casting, Lisa’s expertise and reassurance made a complex journey feel manageable.

With the nicer weather, you may be seeing kids cruising the neighborhood on e-bikes and e-scooters. Maybe your kid has an e-bike or e-scooter. It’s great to be outdoors and participating in active fun, but make sure kids know how to stay safe. Follow these quick safety tips.
