Our residents are keeping the rhythm and their heart rates up with this energizing and fun fitness class! Cardio drumming combines movement, music, and plenty of smiles—proving that staying active can be just as joyful as it is good for your health.🥁

Jim’s Classic Car Dream, Realized! 🚗

This week, we partnered with Suncrest Home Health & Hospice - West Des Moines, Iowa and American Dream Machines to help resident Jim Parker check a major item off his bucket list—and it was a ride down memory lane in every way.

Jim proudly owned a red 1955 Thunderbird for 60(!) years, showing it at countless car shows and collecting plenty of trophies. He spent years working at Mitchell’s Body Shop—right next door to ADM—where he specialized in manual transmissions and worked on many of the classics he saw again this week.

Jim had an absolute blast touring American Dream Machines, swapping stories, and talking shop with their amazing team—then topped it all off with ice cream at Dairy Zone.

Huge thanks to Suncrest Hospice and ADM for helping us make this Eden Endeavor one for the memory books. 💚

Ferris Wheel Rides, Corn Dogs & Butter Cows, oh my!🎡🌽🍗🐄 We had a blast at Iowa State Fair with our sister communities! You couldn't miss our residents with their neon shirts as they checked out all the things that make our state fair a GREAT state fair!

A very special day for Leland! With the help of Suncrest Home Health & Hospice - West Des Moines, Iowa, Leland, a Vietnam Veteran was honored with a Quilt of Valor.
A Quilt of Valor® (QOV) is a quality, handmade quilt awarded to a Service Member or Veteran who has been touched by war. The Quilt says unequivocally, “Thank you for your service and sacrifice in serving our nation.” 🇺🇸

Edencrest at Beaverdale is an assisted living, closer care, and memory care community. We opened our doors on November 1st 2017 so we are a newer and award winning community in Des Moines. We truly believe that the care and comfort of our residents is what comes first. We have a fun and outgoing community that creates a living experience like no other.

Our parent company is Senior Housing who is dedicated to providing the best housing and services possible to seniors in the Midwest, by offering innovative solutions for tomorrow’s seniors. We believe in enriching the lives of our residents, improving the lives of our employees, and providing quality service that exceeds our costumer’s expectations and state standards.

Our principles encourage each community to develop it’s own identity through the interaction between the residents, resident’s families, and team members. When we understand the individual, we can then provide a level of service that matches the residents needs known as “Red Carpet Treatment”. Our goal is for everyone we encounter to have a positive and memorable experience.
