On Tuesday, a few of our residents went on an exciting adventure to the casino! We enjoyed trying our luck at a variety of games and were treated to a wonderful performance by one of our favorites, Ritchie Lee. It was a day full of fun, music, and great memories together! 🎲✨

A lifelong Des Moines resident, Leane has been part of the Edencrest family since 2014. Her journey began as a Resident Aide and has grown into her current role as Wellness Support Specialist at Edencrest at Beaverdale — a role she fills with compassion, encouragement, and heart.

Leane is passionate about supporting residents’ independence, building meaningful one-on-one connections, and helping people feel confident, comfortable, and cared for. Inspired by her background in mental health, she believes that “helping people have answers can help them have a better day.”

We’re grateful for the genuine care she brings to residents, families, and teammates — and for the way she helps make Beaverdale feel like home every single day. 💚
