We are located in Desert Hills, AZ, a region of North Phoenix, less than 15 minutes from the intersection of I-17 and Carefree Highway. My name is Lena Voyles, and I am the head trainer at White Fence Training and Sales. We are located in Desert Hills, AZ less than 15 minutes from the intersection of I-17 and Carefree Highway. I have been working with top quality hunter and jumper show horses, as well as the occasional young dressage prospect, for over 15 years now. I had a very successful career as a junior rider in Arizona and the southwest, and during that time I served as the working student at Sherry Templin Training Stables of Scottsdale, AZ. From 2004 to 2008 I attended the University of Edinburgh in Scotland where I earned a Masters Degree First Class in Celtic and Linguistics. In 2010 I opened White Fence Training and Sales and helped some AZ saddlebred breeders develop sporthorse programs for their athletic youngsters that were not cut out for the breed shows. In 2011 I began breeding elite Hanoverian sporthorses, and I continue to breed and start my own babies. Our horses carry the top bloodlines of Grande, Absatz, Bordeaux, For Pleasure, and Escudo II. I am now opening my doors to accept dedicated training clients. Competitive riders are welcome as are horses in training. I will start pre-approved youngsters under saddle for any of the sporthorse disciplines and ensure that they get a classically correct start that can form the foundation of their career. Our training program emphasizes correctness, lightness, and rideability regardless of discipline. It is always my goal to foster amateur-friendliness in the horse. It is also one of my top priorities to produce a horse who loves his job. Further to my degree in Linguistics, I have had the opportunity to study a number of wonderful modalities for enhancing mental fitness for performance in humans, such as hypnosis and Thought Field Therapy. I incorporate these skills and knowledge into my work with my riders to help them achieve their goals. I am happy to provide reiki energy healing sessions for animals or humans (and even for structures such as homes or business facilities) upon request. Our equestrian training facilities are maintained to a high standard and include:

Huge 16'x36' covered, lighted pipe rail stalls with auto waterers and misting system, lighted covered wash rack, tack room, and large lighted jumping arena. There is trail access just across the street from us for plenty of opportunity for riding out. The cost of board at our facility is $450/month and includes daily cleaning, twice daily feeding of alfalfa and/or bermuda hay, and once daily feeding of owner-provided supplements. We are lucky to be in a beautiful location with wonderful mountain views and we truly enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. We are also fortunate to be surrounded by horsey neighbors.
