I remember the conversation well at the Western Hunt expo. Brady wanted to book a mountain goat hunt and I was nervous as all heck to spend that kind of money. Hunting in Alaska costs a TON! If you know Brady, you know once he gets his mind on something, there's literally no convincing him otherwise. He was doing it, and there was nothing that was going to stop him. He lives for adventure, and he will do whatever it takes.
So before we headed home in February 2020 we booked it, and then we both got to work. He took on more electrical work, I started a completely new business and over a year later here he is, about to leave on a dream hunt. To be honest, t's been a complete team effort to make this happen. Lots of late nights, sacrifices and doing the work even when we didn't feel like it.
For those of you asking if I'm jealous I'm not going with and why I decided to stay home, it's a simple answer. He's my person.. his success is mine and vice versa. While I really wish I was going to be there to share in the memories, I know that would be selfish. This is HIS dream hunt, not mine.. and I want it to be exactly what he wants it to be, without him having to worry about me. So I'll be home, doing the most important thing.. taking care of our kiddos and praying every day that it's everything he's ever dreamed of. I love you, . Go bring home a goat!
