If your period pain is so bad it stops your life, something deeper may be going on.

Many women are told painful periods are normal. They’re not.

Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, often causing pelvic pain, inflammation, fatigue, digestive issues, and sometimes fertility challenges.

Adenomyosis, often called the sister condition of endometriosis, occurs when that same type of tissue grows into the muscular wall of the uterus, which can lead to heavy bleeding, severe cramping, and pelvic pressure.

These conditions frequently exist together. I personally live with both endometriosis and adenomyosis, which is part of why supporting women’s health is something I care deeply about.

Through practices like Ayurveda, yoga, and nervous system support, there are ways to help the body feel more supported while navigating these conditions.

If you’ve ever been told “period pain is normal” but your body says otherwise — you’re not alone. 🤍
