I am heartbroken by the recent news of a young woman’s life taken by intimate partner violence, which deeply impacts the sports world. My prayers are with her family, loved ones, and all who are impacted by this devastating loss.

Through Soul Healing Consulting and my long-standing work with the NBA, I focus on keeping conversations about relationship safety, wellness, and healing alive for players and their families. These are not distant issues, they are real, urgent, and life-altering. It matters that we keep these topics fresh and create space for processing, prevention, and support.

I remain committed to offering culturally specific strategies, resources, and compassionate guidance for those navigating the impact of violence in all spaces. This work matters, and it must remain central to how we care for ourselves and one another.

Clean the Clutter
Starting tomorrow to the New Year!

Today, I will rest, read, post, watch, eat and release.

1. Throw out what you are not using. If you have not read it, looked at it, wore it in 2 years—-TOSS it.

2. Delete those old emails. Some of y’all have emails from 1999👀👀👀. Every time you look in that corner 65,000 😬😬😬. Things have changed——boo everything in that email is obsolete anyway🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

3. Delete phone numbers. What is it about about having a 1000 phone numbers stored and you only talk to 20 people. Ummm, at least check if that person still has that number. 🥴🥴🥴

4. Delete old text messages that are irrelevant. Sally why you keeping a text message that only says, Heeeey👋🏽. Jesus take the wheel, I didn’t know people can be text hoarders.🫤🫤🫤

5. Delete Social Media people you do not know, interact with, are unfamiliar with, so forth. Hackers, stalkers, robbers, them “ers” people gone be the life of y’all social butterfly people.🫣🫣🫣

6. Remove unhealthy relationships. Them folks gone have you in therapy while their happy go lucky selves doing what they do best, stir up 💩.

7. Close them undefined relationships like situationships, hook up ships, friends with benefit ships, convenience ships, one-sided ships etc. IJS….them darn “ships” have yo’ little old self d #

“Intentionally Erased” is a new documentary from A CALL TO MEN to uplift the voices of black transwomen. The conversation is deeply needed.

“Intentionally Erased” is a new documentary from A CALL TO MEN aiming to spotlight four Black transwomen in conversation with Black cisgender men. What follows is a series of honest, heart-wrenching interactions that uplift the experiences, challenges, and humanity of Black transwomen in the United States.

The film had its world premiere on Monday, September 26th, at the Out On Film festival in Atlanta, GA.
