These events are free and open to new and expecting residents of Out Wayne County (excluding Detroit residents). Please share the flyer and event links with clients who may benefit from attending these impactful events.

The Safe Sleep Matters Popup Events will include the following:
FREE Infant Safe Sleep Class
Breastfeeding Education
Car Seat Safety Training
Mindfulness Parenting Tips
Health Screenings & Prenatal Care
Connection with Local Doulas & Daycares
Resources from Community Partners

Safe Sleep Swag Bag (Full of safe sleep baby essential items)

Busy little worker bee 🐝💛✨

The plan was to get back to doula’ing 3months after birth…. Olodumare (God) had other plans 😂 in this season of surrender & (not so) stillness I’ve been studying, reflecting and revamping. I can’t wait to continue to serve the community in the way it DESERVES! I refuse to be a birth worker that causes harm or that is ill educated.

I found many of holes in my training programs and went out and found the resources to complete what I feel is wholistic care. VERY thankful to my ancestors because they showed me the way I simply needed to follow.

I try to keep professional but a part of this journey is SHOWING families it can be done and HOW it can be done 🤍 so professionally speaking…. I’VE BEEN DOING THE DAMN THING! I can’t wait to put these new skills to GREAT use.
