We are over the moon! 🌙

Late last night, our last doe to kid, and a barn favorite, gave us a beautiful doeling.

SLAE LOGGY ACRES EMMA FROST (Frosty) kidded unassisted.

Frosty also just turned 7 a couple of days ago! She has an abundance of milk and is letting her two other grandkids in the pen drink from her as well.

We have been a bit heavier on bucklings this time around, so we are happy to end this kidding group with a doeling. She is also a 12-pound big-boned doeling at that!

I would suspect you will see her in the show ring this year. She has her daddy’s looks, HHH4U BIG MAN’S PISTOL. 😊

SLAE LOGGY ACRES LUNA and her little buck kid. 🤍

Miss Luna had a bit of a rough delivery as her first time kidding was triplets. The kid first one was DOA, and the last one was a big buck kid who was stuck coming out the wrong way.

We got to the barn intime to save the buck kid! He is living a good life in the house at the moment, as he required some TLC at first.

Big shout-out to Julie Sarver with Loggy Acres, who took the time to offer suggestions and help us out.

We will give separate updates on the buckling, which we have nicknamed Lieutenant Dan. (He has new legs and can finally stand on his own.)

We had a good ending to a rough start this morning. 🤍

This 10.5 lbs buck kid was stuck, and after both of us trying to pull him out for 15 minutes, we had no success.

Our wonderful vet drove out with snow-covered roads and was able to push one leg back, which allowed more room for this guy's giant head to pass the pelvis.

Thankfully, he was still alive, something we had not been hopeful about.

Only two more does to go in this batch, and then we get a much-needed break.

The wait is over! These two decided to make their appearance in the early hours this morning.

The girl is pictured first, and the boy has a little lightning bolt on his head.
