Alcohol can quietly start to take control... deciding where you go, who you spend time with, and how you cope with life’s ups and downs. It’s not always easy to tell when drinking is taking more from your life than it gives.

Here are 6 warning signs to look out for:

1️⃣ You only want to go places where you know you can drink.

2️⃣ “Just one” often turns into more than you planned.

3️⃣ You feel anxious or uneasy about going without alcohol.

4️⃣ You’ve skipped work, school, or responsibilities because of drinking.

5️⃣ Your relationships change - especially with people who don’t drink.

6️⃣ You think about your drinking privately but don’t feel like you can talk about it.
