It’s been 1 year today that I had surgery to remove most of my right lung due to a large tumur caused by a gene mutation!

I thank all my friends and family for the support and prayers through it all🤍

PET scan shows no new areas 🙌
Continue same med and hopefully be able to adjust the time I take it so it doesn’t cause the severe fatigue in the morning and/or muscle cramps at bedtime. 🤍 💪

Radiation caused some throat pain ( feels like im swallowing glass) but I started my chemo pill and next scan in 3 months!

PET scan didnt give the results we hoped for. I have a metastatic lesion on my thoracic spine. I also have an area around the bottom of the outside of my esophagus. So I have an upper and lower endoscopy tomorrow to get needed biopsy’s and next week I’ll get a dose of radiation daily for 3 days in a row in my thoracic spine. Still waiting for my oral chemo pill to get thru approval!! I went from stage IIb to stage 4🙏💪💕😘

PET scan this morning 🤞

Met with my new Oncologost. Plan is to get a new PET scan and start the oral chemo pill daily for 3 years.
He was very thorough explained everything well.

I’ll need an echocardiogram, EKG, and base line labs. Apparently with the new med it has some cardiac side effects.
