This trip was incredibly restful. I am grateful for time with my handsome husband exploring, sipping coffee on the porch, time to read for pleasure, farmers market and orchard visits, & a little yoga with the pup in my favorite spot. The sky was gorgeous, the milky way photo was taken while we were there, not taken by us.

We really enjoyed this hike and the waterfalls. So many stairs but the views made it worth it. Our post hike meal surprised us with live music and a fiery sunset.

Our favorite trail at Mt Mitchell was still in disrepair so we tried a different trail. It made me think it may look a bit like I imagine Canada may. 🌲🌲🌲

This trip uas been full of hikes with the dog, lazy biscuit breakfasts, summits with cascading waterfalls, lots of quiet, and time with friends.

This is the first year I will have missed Jax Yoga Fest, but I am practicing (in-spirit) with my yogi friends that are there and soaking in the mountain air. ❤️
