This school year, let’s encourage our youth to live happy, to***co-free lives!
Did you know that 1 in 10 Tuscarawas County youth reported using vapes in their lifetime, with 6% reporting being current users? If your child or someone you know is struggling to quit va**ng, access to FREE cessation counseling is available any time by calling 1-800-QUIT-NOW or by going to livevapefree.com

According to the CDC, the most common reason given for why middle school and high school students use e-cigarettes is because they feel anxious, stressed or depressed. However, ni****ne addiction can actually contribute to these feelings or even make them worse. When youth use to***co products to reduce stress, they are contributing to a cycle of ni****ne dependence and addiction.

Talk to your child about healthy ways to cope with stress, like journaling, going for a walk, or watching a movie with friends.

For more information on to***co and ni****ne cessation resources for youth, call 330-343-5555 x1860 or go to tchdnow.org.
