For all pet parents.

" I pray for my furry child peace, safety, and being pain free because he certainly has brought volumes of healing to our life."

*Yesterday I broke down a bit, posting about all the animals from the wildfires in California being sent to Seattle for a new home. I felt a little devastated by all these beautiful human beings and their furry kids, knowing they have to take care of themselves and where to live. All these beautiful animals will be relocated so that they can have a healing recovery and a new start.

I pray resilience
I pray peace
I pray empowerment to all those volunteers and all those families who decide to make space for another furry loved one!

Peace doesn't mean overlooking the obvious,
Peace doesn't mean only doing what's easy,
Peace means making a commitment to who you are, how you live in the world, how you resolve conflict and how you create opportunity. Creative opportunity and resilience are the building blocks of my peace.

Huzzah 🎉
I'm super excited,
After watching videos for a week and using five practice pieces!

I don't know what know why I was so nervous to learn this new one.

Do you ever get like that?
You want to try something new.
You started
Can you find yourself making excuses for not doing it?

I could tangibly feel that I was afraid I would try and not be able to do it.

Until tonight, set aside a few hours and said okay I'm doing it tonight!

Surprised myself, I did!

I found this a couple weeks ago, the stitch, and I thought this is the cutest thing ever!

I thought this would be a great pattern to make into all kinds of things, scarves hats mittens and anything and everything!

It'll be a great way for me to contribute to cat rescue!

I enjoyed changing colors too.

A lot of times I don't want to change colors I just want to keep going but this is really fun working with different colors.

Plus, I'm still working on the yarn that my mom gave me years ago!

I am a spot some new yarn this week. But I didn't!

I'm committed to using all the scrap yarn and use it for learning new things and I have some other people that I've offered it to and will be doing some things over the next few weeks as they learn to crochet too!

Since I'm turning 60 next year I will have completed all my cycles in this lifetime! I'm very excited.

I'm grateful, 10 years ago I found marketing for hippies!
