One of my favorite moments as a birth doula is witnessing a mother meet her baby for the very first time it never gets old. ❤️

Mo and I actually met back in high school in our hometown, which made this journey even more special. Her previous delivery was a cesarean due to failure to progress, but this time she was determined to have a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) and she did just that!

After laboring through most of the night, we arrived at the hospital around 12 PM and she was already 6 cm dilated. With intentional movement, support, an epidural, and some much needed rest, her baby boy made his beautiful entrance at 6 PM.

There were so many moments filled with encouragement and prayer along the way.

To every mama: in moments of doubt, please remember you can do it. 🤍

The word Doula translates to a woman who serves!

✨It’s Exactly That!! Serving mothers and families and
being a steady, compassionate presence for families means late night calls, quiet reassurances, and judgment-free support.

It’s guiding them through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with care and education, offering gentle encouragement as a mother trusts her body and meets her baby.

It’s witnessing the joy, holding space for healing, prayers and walking alongside families through their journey.

Honoring the hands, hearts, and wisdom that hold families through life’s most special time 🤍✨

HAPPY WORLD DOULA WEEK !!

Fun fact: At three years old I had the pleasure of watching my mom deliver my baby brother, who knew it would lead to this !!

This World Doula Week, we celebrate the strength, compassion, and advocacy doulas bring to every birth, every parent, and every story.

From first breaths to postpartum healing, doulas are a steady presence reminding you that you are seen, supported, and never alone.

To the women who serve Thank you 🥰

Happy 1 month to this sweet baby boy !!

This birth was absolutely beautiful❤️

Every moment was so intentional from her birth plan, affirmations, playlist, who she had in the room as she labored to us praying and baby boy entering the world as Revelation 19:1 played ❤️🥰

Watching a mother meet her baby for the first time and realize she did it and how strong she is will always be a special moment to me !

Being a doula isn’t just about birth.

It’s also showing up in the quiet moments after — folding clothes, washing a few bottles, listening while a new mom exhales for the first time all day.
Support looks different for every family, but every mom deserves to feel seen, supported, and not alone. 🤍

✨ God walks with you through every moment of motherhood pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. No matter what season you’re in, His strength covers you, His peace surrounds you, and His love carries you through every contraction, every sleepless night, and every new beginning. Mama, you were created for this journey, and you were never meant to walk it alone. Let this scripture remind you that the same God who formed your baby is faithfully holding you, too. 🤍

Motherhood starts with informed choices. 🤍

Take the time to research the people who will support you through pregnancy and birth your OB-GYN, midwife, and doula. Ask questions, read reviews, and trust your intuition. The right provider should make you feel heard, respected, and empowered every step of the way. Your birth team matters. Choose the support that aligns with your values and vision for your birth experience. ✨
