We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Gregory Behm, Orthopedic Surgeon, to our growing Orthopedic team alongside Dr. Stefan Turkula, Dr. Christine McGurn and Mike Haskell, PA.

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Behm has dedicated his career to practicing in rural America—often as a solo practitioner in some of the most remote locations in the West. His mission: to bring “big city” techniques to small town communities.

Dr. Behm is board-certified in both General Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. He has extensive expertise in total hip and total knee replacements—procedures that make a huge impact for patients who want excellent care close to home.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Behm is an avid skier ⛷️ and a proud Alumni Member of the National Ski Patrol, where he served for more than 10 years as medical advisor at Lost Trail Ski Area. His wife, Beth, says he only works so he can ski. 😉Together, they have three grown children, three grandchildren, and are excited for this new chapter in Teton Valley.

Dr. Stefan Turkula is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and specialist in sports medicine. His practice focuses on both surgical and non-surgical care for injuries and disorders of the knee, shoulder, hip, and elbow.

📢 Interim CEO Appointed at Teton Valley Health Care

The Teton Valley Health Care (TVHC) Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO),Troy Christensen. The Board, on behalf of the organization, expresses their gratitude for Troy's leadership and dedication over the past two years and wishes him the very best.

As part of a succession plan developed earlier this year, the Board has appointed, by unanimous vote, TVHC's current Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Leianne Everett to the Interim CEO position. Leianne and her team have been integral in moving the organization in a positive financial direction. The Board is confident that Leianne will provide the stable leadership needed during this transition and will work with the Board and Administration to continue TVHC's positive momentum into an exciting future. We appreciate the support of our staff and community as she steps into this role.

Leianne Everett addressed her new role, stating, "I am honored to accept the appointment as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Teton Valley Health Care. I appreciate the trust and confidence the Board has placed in me during this pivotal time for our organization. I recognize the responsibility this role carries and am committed to providing steady leadership, maintaining operational continuity, and supporting our teams as we navigate this transition."

If you saw our teaser video from a trip our team took to Cody, WY… you may have guessed right! 🎥 Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Gregory Behm is officially joining our team, October 13th!

For more than 25 years, Dr. Behm has been committed to practicing in rural America, often working in some of the most remote places in the West. He’s passionate about bringing “big city” techniques to small town communities. Dr. Behm has extensive experience with total hips and total knees—procedures that are especially vital in rural communities, where patients deserve to get world-class care without traveling far from home.

Dr. Behm graduated first in his class from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, completed residency at the prestigious Campbell Clinic in Memphis, TN, and is board certified in both General Orthopedics and Orthopedic Sports Medicine. He has also served as an Oral Board Examiner for the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery for over a decade.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Behm is an avid skier ⛷️ He served for more than 10 years as medical advisor to the Lost Trail Ski Patrol and is now an Alumni Member of the National Ski Patrol.

Dr. Behm and his wife, Beth, are excited to begin their new adventure here in Teton Valley—closer to the mountains, slopes, and small-town community they enjoy! 💙

🌟 Welcome Dr. Lindsey Fell to Teton Valley Health Care! 🌟

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Lindsey Fell, Emergency Medicine Physician, to our team.

Dr. Fell grew up in Colorado and after completing her undergraduate studies in Washington state, she made her home here in the Tetons. Her impressive background includes serving as a field instructor with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), a ski patroller at Grand Targhee and in New Zealand, and Assistant Snow Safety Director for the Targhee Ski Patrol.

During her medical training in Portland, OR and Salt Lake City, UT, she continued to combine her love for the outdoors with service—volunteering on the Portland Mountain Rescue SAR team and working in avalanche mitigation for Snowbird Ski Resort.

Today, Dr. Fell brings her passion and expertise to emergency medicine, serving patients on both the Idaho and Wyoming sides of the Tetons. She continues to stay involved in ski patrol, search, and alpine rescue operations.

When she’s not caring for patients, you can find Dr. Fell tending to locally grown garden vegetables and baking heaps of sourdough bread. 🍞🌱
