In all things, there must be balance. This year, maybe approach your โ€œresolutionโ€ less like a single action (weight loss, โ€œgainsโ€ etc) and more like an overarching focus on wellness; mental and physical. This requires creating harmony and balance in your life. Iโ€™ll outline here how I like to frame things out so it doesnโ€™t feel overwhelming. As always, hit the ๐Ÿ“ฅ with questions! ๐Ÿ’š

๐ŸŒŸSET YOUR TOP 5 PRIORITIES ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿฝ make them things that you WANT them to be, not what you think they should be.
๐ŸŒŸ MANAGE YOUR TIME ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿฝ focus on work while at work, and leave on time so you can enjoy your personal time!
๐ŸŒŸ SAY NO WITH A SMILE ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿฝ (this one is a tough one for me personally) Set healthy boundaries for yourself personally and professionally. Donโ€™t volunteer for, or agree to, everything if it creates chaos and reduces your focus on whatโ€™s most important. Just because you can do it, doesnโ€™t mean you should. You are your own best advocate in this arena.
๐ŸŒŸ MAKE YOUR WORK LESS OF A JOB ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿฝ volunteer for extra tasks/projects/training and responsibilities that you enjoy, and could hone skills to advance you professionally. Communicate your goals/ambitions to your managers and create a framework for advancement.
๐ŸŒŸ SCHEDULE IN FUN ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿฝ make plans with friends! Be as committed to this as you are your other appointments in life. Particularly if you are an introvert; because itโ€™s too easy to just stay home if you donโ€™t. It doesnโ€™t have to be complicated. Just meeting up with a friend for tea can fill your soul. Seek out people that fill your cup, not take away from it.

Preparation is the key to success! ๐Ÿ† Plan your meals so you can really look forward to them, and youโ€™ll be more likely to stay the course! We hear so many complaints about food boredom while โ€œdietingโ€โ€ฆ chicken/broccoli/rice on replay sound familiar? ๐Ÿ˜ Just stop it please! Start by just incorporating more fresh produce into your days! Donโ€™t look at eating healthy/clean as โ€œgiving upโ€ certain thingsโ€ฆ a good place to start is to just eat your veggies FIRST!
