Healthy Native Community Coalition

Healthy Native Community Coalition HNCC's logo was designed by three young Native men in partnership with the Jicarilla Elder's Council.

It signifies multi-generational wellness among family, surrounded by the 6 sacred mountians & creation. A suicide prevention coalition for the Jicarilla Apache Nation community that began from nurses at the Teen Health Center, January 2005. Today, 2012, there are over 20 tribal departments involved, along with Legislative Council members and over 10 different programs and major community events.
